![]() Here at Boulder, there was a guest list at every party, the girl to guy ratio had to always be two to one. At my school, anyone was welcome at parties, anyone could grab a cup and hit the keg. I had only been in college for two or three months before this experience, but I had attended a fair amount of parties at my respective school. I stood mostly observing all night, cup in hand, hat backwards, in order to somewhat fit in into that typical, cookie cutter frat boy look although I would never completely understand. Sorority girls filed in passing by the makeshift bouncers in fantastically short dresses and skirts, dolled up like movie stars, ready to hit the dance floor or the ice luge. It was Saturday, a notoriously raucous night on “the hill”, and I was about to be astounded. Underneath the burrito splattered on the wall and the Solo cups scattered along the ground was a beautiful, colonial style mansion in which Boulder frat boys have been inhabiting for over 100 years. ![]() The inside of the house was beautiful in one way but completely vile in another. I drove onto the infamous “Hill” on the campus of the University of Colorado Boulder and saw the gigantic Sigma Nu frat house.
